Helen Springer, Counsellor
In 1986, while I was still working in my substantive job as a surveyor, I joined the Marriage Guidance Counsel and trained as a counsellor and worked as a volunteer until 2013. This organisation now known as Relate. I now work with them for 3 hours a week.
I started my private practice In 2000.
During my years working with Relate and in my private practice, I have helped hundreds of people to find solutions to long term problems, coping with urgent emotional issues and developing skills needed to successfully manage their lives.
I am a Registered Relate counsellor with 30 years experience and a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My main therapeutic approach is psychodynamic therapy but also use other therapeutic interventions as necessary to promote healthy couple relationships and positive personal development.
I am a specialist in couple counselling.
